Recently, I was talking with colleagues about the importance of mentorship in regards to professional (and personal) growth.

My career was indelibly shaped by my mentor – Steve de Shazer.  If you’re a therapist, you undoubtedly know about Steve’s contribution to our field – Solution Focused Brief Therapy.  You may also know that I had the privilege of being part of the SFBT team during the early days of its development.
